It is normal if got special counter at the ground floor. During my first inquiry to this unit(before s n p), the staff told me all renovation thing must give to renovator assigned by koperasi, and it is stated in my (our?) s n p agreement too.

Residential properties in Penang likely to rise this year
BUTTERWORTH: Prices of medium-cost residential properties in Penang are expected to appreciate this year due to significant demand for houses below RM400,000, says a real estate consultant.
Henry Butcher Malaysia (Seberang Perai) Sdn Bhd senior manager Fook Tone Huat said this category of residential properties were also recession proof.
For high-end properties, he said the take-up rate was expected to gradually slow down while prices were likely to be flat as buyers continue to remain cautious over the domestic and global economy.
“Uncertainties in the global economy and the new ruling by Bank NegaraMalaysia is likely to put pressure on the property market. However, the impact would not be significant as the market was cautiously optimistic.
“However, property prices are not expected to decline in view of the relatively strong domestic economy and the impact of the Economic Transformation Programme,” he added.
Fook said more stratified development such as high-rise and gated projects were in the pipeline for development on expensive land due to positive demand for new living concepts.
He said properties in northern Seberang Perai Selatan and Seberang Perai Tengah would enjoy significant demand with major growth areas being in Alma, Perai and Simpang Ampat.
“Alma (Bukit Mertajam) is the up and coming development area due to cheaper development land. Perai is the existing prime development area located at the centre of Seberang Perai with high traffic flow and population concentration.
“Simpang Ampat was also in demand because the area was near the Second Penang Bridge,” Fook said.
In the commercial category, he said the segment was likely to see a stable trend amid the absence of new commercial properties while agricultural property prices were expected to rise as it was relatively cheaper.
Fook said mainland Penang was likely to attract new development compared with the island which faced land constraints. However, he pointed out that there was a 50 per cent difference in property prices between the mainland and the island given the demand from locals and foreigners. - BERNAMA
