Yes, some people had moved in to Avalon d. If not mistaken, its about RM450-500 psf now.

so far the quality of Acacia Semi-D is good and better than Avalon
so far everyone is making profit from the subsale as long as you have the holding power . Since the interest rate for housing loan is low and and the Interest for FD also low. It is a good idea to invest in such location.I believe you will see the price will move up and holding at certain level . Frankily speaking, there are still many people who has plenty of cash in hand . But they just like to act wait and see attitude . At this kind of market situation, the penang property market is not badly affected.If you wish to invest you should invest wisely.
It is still a good time to invest in Acacia . currently the price manage to touch RM 1.8 to 2.0 millions ++. I believe the price will continue to move upward when E & O completed the whle Semi - D project by end of the year . If you really compare the size and quality of Acacia with others , you will find it value buy .
Stephannie, it is hard to get a unit of Acacia below RM 1.75 Million. If you really want to buy you should buy now . Last time i also adopted " Wait and See" end up bought the unit at RM 1.7 ++ million. Once the whole acacia project completed , the price should be above RM 2 million.

Go check out the re-sale units at Avalon. I think some are willing to let go at around RM 1.6mil. though not many units in the market.
it is not wise to purchase Avalon. The building structure is not suitable for our lifestyle here especially the car park . You should go and see the actual unit . You will know the real value of acacia .

what do you mean by the structure not suitable for our lifestyle? the interiors of avalon and acacia are pretty similar. in fact avalon felt bigger as it doesn't have so many big balconies. i have visited my friends there a few times and i find avalon having a very nice layout though. so is acacia.... i find both are nice houses.
although i prefer avalon's location to acacia.
The new phase of Ariza terrace (intermediate units with no seaview) sold for almost RM 1.1 mil, you can be assured that it is a matter of time before all the semi-det (intermediate units) here going above RM 2 mil.

would feel very scared if there's earthquake in sumatra...like today, acheh...
2004 this area was hit badly by tsunami...plus the whole seri tanjung pinang is the product of the reclamation project... really concern that the ground structure is not stabile...
even today, after the earthquake in sumatra there.... even TESCO in Seri tanjung Pinang already evacuate all the shoppers and close shops.. n MIND U, TESCO building is the furthest from the sea! compared to all the studios apartment n terrace & semi D houses
i very kiasi 1... all types of properties on seri tanjung pinang are overprice 1...the studio condo..landed properties... so expensive, summore have to worry about the land structure or tsunami...
Dun worry about tsunami. If it comes with a direct hit, up to medan lumba kuda will be affected. At least 10-20km damage. Be realistic.
