I went to check out the place as well. The house design was alright. But I didn't quite like the surrounding area. It was sandwiched and surrounded by a lot of flats and apartments. The environment feeling was more like Relau and not like Bukit Jambul.

The house design is very nice but I hear that the house got ''leak water'' so most ppl wont buy anymore...it's also surrounded by a lot of flats & apartments, did you see the empty land next to it? Hear they're going to built a low cost flat...

This is Penang, of course there are apartments everywhere if you are looking for a good location and convenience.
If you want greens, then you have to live further away (eg. Teluk Kumbar, SP setia - Sg.Ara, Balik Pulau) and there are another set of problems (congestion and unconvenient in terms of travelling).
I personally don't mind staying in location which is easily accessible and convenient even there are apartment everywhere. CONVENIENCE is important.
Imaging staying in Teluk Kumbar, my gosh!!! The traffic is so bad and it would be worst when more and more housing projects are coming up.
Even Sg. Ara is already consider bad especially those staying after the Army Camp. There are so many condos, apartments, One Residence, Sunway Merica projects, eco hill project coming up. When these projects are completed and with full occupancies including the SP setia housing... Mind mind.... It will cause MASSIVE Jam.
For investment sg.ara is not a right place but for staying and not thinking of selling the place, it is okay.
For those who have children going to school, it's a headache if you want to send them to good schools or tuition in town. *sigh*
Of course some will comment, everywhere in Penang is always jam. Yes, you are right. But I would rather be jammed for a short distance only compared to be jammed for a longer distance. THINK!

Talking about apartments surrounding like Relau, the Sentral Greens houses are hot selling. All the units have been snapped up except the corner units.
Apartments or no apartments surrounding, as long as the place do not have massive jam and it's convenient getting from a place to another it would be a good choice for lots of people.
