The Mah Sing Group will introduce a new project to its development in Southbay City at the upcoming Star Property Fair 2014.
Known as ‘The Coastal @ Southbay City’, the project comprises two components – an office block with 166 professional suites for offices and a block for residential suites with 100 residential units and 12 shop units.
The project will be open for registration exclusively during the fair and those interested should not miss the opportunity.
Recent projects launched by Mah Sing have drawn remarkably strong interest and with it, a significant take-up rate for their projects.
The success is mainly due to the Group’s effort in creating products that meet the needs of the masses.
In the high-end sector, projects with niche concepts, prime locations and convenient access such as being close to the Penang International Airport and the Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah Bridge appeal to both local and foreign property owners.
Two of its upmarket properties – Ferringhi Residence and Southbay City – will be promoted at the fair.
Ferringhi Residence is a freehold, gated and guarded residential project located at the world-renowned tourist belt of Batu Ferringhi.
Its Precint 1 Condo Villa development is designed to be low-density with only two units per floor.
The condo villa is a spacious resort home with a 3+1 bedroom layout and built-up area of 1,510sq ft to 1,752sq ft.
There will also be a resort clubhouse, which functions as a central meeting place for the residents’ recreational and relaxation activities.
Approximately 85% of the units have already been taken up due to its prime location, with international beach hotels located within walking distance.
The Upland International School is also almost at its doorstep, providing convenient access to high-quality education.
There are only a limited number of standard and furnished units remaining of the Precint 1 Condo Villas.
On the other hand, the Precint 2 Resort Villas would be open for registration soon.
Mah Sing would also be promoting its projects in Southbay City, an award-winning waterfront township development with a comprehensive mix of residential and commercial components.
The development is strategically located next to the Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah Bridge, providing easy access via the Bayan Lepas coastal highway and the Penang International Airport.
The development features a low-density lifestyle and caters to the need of those staying in the southern side of Penang and those coming to the island via the second bridge.
Its progress is greatly complemented by the success of Residence@Southbay, Mah Sing’s maiden project in Penang, which has all been sold out.
Apart from the Residence, approximately 90% of Southbay Plaza and Trends@Southbay have both been taken up, while Legenda and The Loft (Tower A) are approximately 75% and 60% sold respectively.
In their effort to encourage visitors to purchase properties before the GST (goods and services tax) is introduced next year, Mah Sing would be offering exclusive easy home ownership packages for projects to be promoted during the Star Property Fair 2014.
This is due to the effect that the GST would have once it is introduced in April next year. It is expected to directly or indirectly increase the cost of living including property prices.
For more details on the project, readers can visit the N1 booth at Gurney Plaza during the Star Property Fair 2014 from July 24 to July 27.
Now in its 12th year, The Star Property Fair is the premier property showcase in the northern region and would be held from 10am to 10pm daily at Gurney Plaza and the G Hotel.
Zeon Properties Sdn Bhd is the event partner. There will be various local and foreign property on show and visitors can find out more property-related information through the talks and forums conducted by specialists in their respective fields.
There will also be a Dip & Win Property Fair contest, where visitors can take part and try their luck at winning iPad Minis, Samsung tablets, mountain bikes and gift vouchers daily, sponsored by Ivory Properties Group Bhd.
