They are 2 upgrade item, upgrade our Dry yard from cement to ceramic tiles and upgrade ensuite wall tiles from 1.5m high to full high with ceramic tiles. Dont know worth it or not?
i dont mind the yard is only cement, but bath room must consider. My unit is type G 1300sq ft the yard design is very small. it cost me RM2300 to upgrade.

Anyone bought any unit at CEO (next to Hotel Vistana)? This project alrdy delayed almost 1yr, i m wondering how they make the compensation, they said will be done on Jan 2011. But only count fr Jun 2010 (6 months delay after)... i felt it's very unfair to the purchaser.

CEO has delayed almost 1 year and still unable to complete! You guys are talking about selling your properties, please check around the history of the developer before dreaming about the profit that you are about to make, be patient and be prepared to face the delay of the project and this is NORMAL to the developer due to they are used to delaying projects, nothing to them and they don't care at all. So, be prepared to wait.....
all Ideal developer projects are famous for delay, and GANGSTER RENOVATOR.....stay tuned....

Skyrocket pricing without justification is just temporary. Ideal should know that as expert in property. Unless they want to be out of property market, it is really not wise for them to disregard reputation damage. Real cases and pictures of their project would continue to damage their business.

Just went to the site last weekend and tried to snap some good photo to share with all... but looks like pretty hard to get a good shot of the 1-World building... maybe too near... anyway, the whole township concept of "The One" is pretty good... hope the concept really works!!
This is really a strategic location with great township concept, but I don't think it reach RM400/sqf before obtain the OC... maybe still can get a cheaper price at RM350/sqf... not sure...

the sale person saying that developer will help apply to TNB convert from the commercial rate to resident rate after OC obtain.But...before that, thay need to get atleast 80% of the resident's signature to prove that they agree to convert. so, for those buyer may try to approach developer about this.so that, developer can take the fast action.

Besides, there is another way to stop the gangster contractor enter the apartment which is iDEAL developer itself. If the developer not allow the gangster contractor to go in, then this kind of case won't happen.
If the developer co-operation with gangster contractor, then owners can fill a complaint to one government department ( I forget which dept) and this will caused the developer blacklisted and cannot renew their development license next time if too many complaint to this developer, but I forget where to complaint. If anyone know, can post out.

Lift is control by foreign worker. The highest floor can reach is 18 floor.

I received the letter (dated 20-apr) from Ideal this week regarding Ideal stopped paying the bank interest from 20-Apr onwards as VP was obtained on 19-Apr. Please call up to the bank to find out the balance interest that you need to pay before the due date. For example, Ambank, the purchaser needs to pay the balance interest latest by 9-May.
Meanwhile, my understanding that the purchaser will get the key once the VP is released. But Ideal informed that purchaser will get the key in Jun/Mid.

Short update to your all. I am one of the buyers. I went for car park balloting last week. I bought additional carpark. Developer provides side-by-side carparks and it is marvellous. VP was obtained begining of May. Now is waiting for the OC. According to developer, most likely will be in Jun or July.

I had collected the key and visited 1-World unit yesterday, I'm glad with the overall result. As my unit is located in high-floor so it probably can see the township view of Bayan Baru & Bayan Lepas with added side angle view of Pantai Jerejak. So overall view is quite nice and no major defect. The facilities were located on the 7th floor with well renovated and the actual floor level is higher compare to 1-World Tower 2 facilities floor. The good news to share out from Management is there will no in-house contractor to stand by for doing our house renovation after O.C. obtained. But the condition is all unit lord need to purchase raw materials like cement and sand from them as well. The person in-charge who brought us to visit our unit is very friendly and helpful, some more he helped us to inspect and checked thru for any defect. Now I'm starting to plan for my house reno and looking forward to move it soon! Hope to see all the 1-World new neighborhood soon ya~~~

Commercial title should be holding better resale than residential, with it's potential for commercial used (eg, office or company registered address) yet enjoy the same utilities tariff as residential title.

I am not understand as normal strata is charged at 7% whereas commercial is 10.3%. Why the difference is so much few hundreds compared to 2.5k?
@new-investor, I wish your news is true. But I was told by the developer staff before that it is impossible to convert to residential title as the piece of land is with commercial title, even we are able to get residential rate for our utility bills.
@skysboyz, We own a unit at 1-sky. It is not the rate (10.3 like you said) that is killing us, it is the annual assessment value give by MPPP: annual assessment value for our value is RM26,000. That's why the assessment is ~RM2600/year!
any specific reason why the value set as twenty over thousands whereas other residential unit is only few thousands? because of commercial title?

Is that firm that assessment is Rm2600 per year for both 1 world and 1 sky?
@Unknown, the assessment is based on the unit size. 1-sky range from 2400 - 2600 and could be slightly higher for the bigger unit. I guess 1 world would be slightly lower. But 1-sky owners have complained and we were told not to pay anything yet. Hopefully MPPP may revise the value. that's all I know.
