The luck of the draw was with condominium owner Wong Yoon Lim after he bought a RM700,000 unit in Setia Sky Vista, Relau, Penang.
An entry with his name was submitted for SP Setia’s ‘Jet Set with Setia’ homeowners holiday bonanza and just like that, Wong won a 5D/4N all-expenses-paid trip for two to London.
The 36-year-old marketing executive was wide-eyed over his good fortune at the Setia Welcome Centre in SPICE on recently.
“I’ll go with my lovely wife,” he grinned when asked who he was taking to London.
Besides predicting it would be memorable, Wong said the trip would be an excellent break from work.
Another lucky Setia Sky Vista owner was Leong Jinq Ying, 33, who won a 5D/4N trip for two to Nanning, China.
“I never expected to win at all! I am taking my mother to China!” Leong said excitedly.
About 100 property owners gathered at the centre to watch the live telecast of the lucky draw held at the Setia City Convention Centre in Setia Alam, Shah Alam.
Similar gatherings were held in Johor Baru and Kota Kinabalu.
Twenty-two homeowners nationwide won vacations to London, Melbourne, Nanning, Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore and Langkawi in this second draw.
All buyers who signed the sale and purchase agreements for the developer’s Malaysian projects between Jan 1 and Dec 1 are eligible for the draw.
The final draw is on Dec 12 and the grand prize will be a 21-day trip for two to all the six locations.
Datuk Khor Chap Jen, acting president and CEO for SP Setia, said the campaign is a way to celebrate the developer’s 40th anniversary.
“We want to reward our loyal customers for their immeasurable support of our projects.
“Instead of sending one lucky winner to different places, we are sending two on every trip so they can share the memorable journeys with their loved ones,” he said in his opening speech.
The event saw three more homeowners winning a day-trip and hi-tea experience each on a luxury yacht departing from Admiral Marina, Port Dickson. - By The Star
