The Tropicana 218 Macalister Sales Gallery in Anson Road, Penang, took on a carnival atmosphere as a large crowd turned up to check out its attractive property packages and enjoy the fun-filled activities.
Among the activities lined up were various types of football games, a mystery dip that gave away fabulous prizes, stage performances such as samba, capoeira and batucada as well as colouring and drawing contests.
Tropicana Corporation Bhd marketing and sales deputy general manager Andrea Yee said more than 30 types of local kuih were prepared for the visitors.
“The response was really overwhelming.
“Many people came to ask about our Tropicana 218 Macalister project.
It offers the first Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Malaysia along with Neo suites, serviced residences and boutique retail,” she added.
“We also received maximum registration for our colouring and drawing contests.
“Brazilian dancers were also flown in to perform here,” Yee said when met at the sales gallery on Saturday.
She said the event was part of the Tropicana Collection campaign that kicked off on April 15 to showcase inspired living choices to prospective buyers.
The projects are located in premier hotspots of Penang, Klang Valley, Iskandar Malaysia and Kota Kinabalu.
“This year, we bring the public not just real estate developments, but also properties which are crafted on the values of family unity, personal individuality and brilliant business acumen,” she added.
Pensioner Kalwant Kaur, 60, who was among the crowd, commended the developer’s creative method of pulling in the crowd by having fun activities for the visitors to the sales gallery. - BY TAN SIN CHOW (The Star)
