An upscale commercial hub for Bukit Mertajam

DNP Land Sdn Bhd has embarked on its first mega commercial project in Penang with its 50 acres (20.2ha) Impiana Commercial Hub (ICH) in Alma, Bukit Mertajam.

Located adjacent to its residential project of Taman Seri Impian along Jalan Rozhan, ICH has been designed as a modern lifestyle commercial centre featuring double and three-storey shops with 24ft wide frontage.

DNP general manager K.C.Tan said Tesco hypermarket would also open in ICH which is surrounded by highly populated areas such as Bukit Mertajam, Kulim and Southern Seberang Prai.

“ICH will offer residents a new upscale lifestyle with shops selling branded products and concepts,” he said, adding that ICH would be open for registration during the Star Property Fair from Friday to Sunday.

The project will also feature an open courtyard plaza, three-storey gallery shop lots, food and beverage outlets, budget hotel, medical centre, one-stop pre-school Edu-Centre, entertainment and community centre, and an Electrical and Electronic City.

DNP will also showcase its residential projects of BM Utama and Taman Seri Impian at the fair to be held at the G Hotel and Gurney Plaza.

He said BM Utama Phase 2 comprised 111 units of double storey terrace house priced from RM338,000 and 104 units of double storey semi-detached homes selling from RM498,000.

“Taman Seri Impian has received great response with 90% of Phase 4 and 5 comprising double storey terraces, two-and-a-half storey semi detached and bungalows sold,” he added. - By Catherine Chong (The Star)
