actually, houses which facing a road is not a religious issue. pantang or not, a professional fengshui master can actually "change" the houses fengshui from bad to good.

In general, the number 4, 14 and 24 do instill a negative psychological effect on any would be property owner. The art of Feng Shui has a lot to do with psychology and a kind of inert effect on human's perceptions, feelings and actions over extended period of time.

The negative effects of any prominent indicator of the "14th" floor can be neutralized by replacing the number 14 with 13A or 13B.

Is it true that properties located on the 14th floor have a lower value than those of similar build up area on the 12th floor? The answer is both Yes and No.

No, if the property is located in popular zone, like those near Perak Road or Maccullum Street.

Natural geographic features have significant influence on the Feng Shui surrounding a location. As the saying goes, "Heaven, Earth and Man" luck constitutes the Feng Shui of a person. Therefore, good location and preferred orientation for real estates are important. However, to understand the exact effects of Feng Shui on a person would required comprehensive evaluation of his/her BaZi, Feng Shui of his/her abode and his/her thoughts.
