Some seven representatives from the housing and real estate industry, government, and banking sectors will speak on a variety of issues related to the future of local housing industry at the Penang Real Estate Conference (PREC).
The one-day conference has been scheduled for May 19 at G Hotel in Penang.
It is jointly organised by investPenang and the Socio-Economic & Environmental Research Institute (SERI), with Henry Butcher Malaysia as the technical advisor.
The Finance Ministry’s valuation and property services director Lau Wai Seang, Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia president Dr Tan Loke Mun, Real Estate Housing & Developers’ Association president Datuk Ng Seing Liong, Henry Butcher Malaysia chief operating officer Tang Chee Meng, Glomac Berhad vice-chairman Datuk Richard Fong, Borneo Vision Sdn Bhd managing director Andrew Davison, and HSBC Bank Malaysia Bhd (northern region) director Rosli Rahmat are expected to give their views on the issue.
Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng and investPenang executive committee chairman Datuk Lee Kah Choon are scheduled to present keynote addresses at the event.
There is a RM250 registration fee to join the conference. The closing date for registering is May 15.
