SP Setia Bhd is unveiling two housing products on Penang island for The Star Property & Home Fair 2008 from Sept 5 to Sept 7.
SP Setia property division (north) general manager S. Rajoo said one of them was the RM150mil Setia Vista in Relau, located on a 8.4ha site.
Setia Vista comprises 206 three-storey terrace homes and 12 semi-detached houses, priced from RM698,000. The units have built-up areas starting from 206 sq m.
“Some 3,000 people who have registered with us over the past year will be invited to the exhibition for a more detailed look at the project,” he said.
The other product to be launched is Phase 3 of Setia Pearl Island, an ongoing scheme.
“We will launch 58 semi-detached houses with a built-up area of 322 sq m. The price starts from RM1.39mil onwards.
“The homes are located within a spectacular landscape of pine and conifer. It is a haven for nature lovers to enjoy the outdoors and admire the handsome fir trees there,” he said.
The other special features include a theatre of trees, a pavilion, a meditation path, a gym station, a terrace garden, Tai Chi Plaza and a jogging path.
“So far about 50% of the units have been booked. We expect to lock in this 50% at the exhibition,” he said.
The two projects will be completed within two years of their launch.
Next year, SP Setia plans to launch about RM200mil worth of landed and high-rise property on the island.
“The high-rise property, comprising 368 apartments, will be built on a 1.6ha site within our Setia Pearl Island development scheme in Sungai Ara,” he said.
“There will be 204 more semi-detached and terraced units for both Setia Vista and phase three of Setia Pearl Island,” he said.
Rajoo said the prices for the next year’s launches had yet to be fixed.
“They will be about 20% to 30% higher,” he added.
The company is among more than 200 exhibitors who will showcase their property, home financing packages and home related products at The Star Property & Home Fair.
